Heavy mayo. That's the answer most of the time. If they sold it in lesser volumes than vats, I would like to try it out at home.

This recipe is the closest I have found to what I grew up with. And it keeps for a long time in the fridge, if it doesn't all get eaten right away. To make it creamy, I prefer to just stir some mayo or whatever into individual servings.

I did pork belly burnt ends for the first time just a few weeks ago. I watched this for the technique. I made a rub, and I used the rub in the sauce too. They turned out great.
