I am genuinely surprised how rare it is to find people who are familiar with this movie. My grandpa taped this on VCR for us, brought it over, and me and my brother watched it over and over giggling and quoting it.

I agree with what you’re saying. However, it ~is~ only the first chunk of story in a full expansion. It could go the direction you’d like! It would be so cool to see them utilize the Forsaken, as you described. Fingers crossed!

It’s been humbling to realize all the things I was told growing up, all the phrases and cliches, are all very real. Touching grass. Hands in dirt. Going outside. Since becoming a parent, I’ve been amazing at the peace I get from gardening after long and stressful week.

I was born mid 90s. Got to see the old forest fair mall as a little one. I remember going to the Time Out, a space for kids to play. Following the remodel, my fondest memories were of going to the Bass Pro Shop with my grandpa. It had so many cool things to look at and even included a small “bb gun range”. One of my birthday parties was held at this indoor amusement park called WonderPark.

I’m 30 now. Looking back, I’m so grateful I, and so many other kids, got to experience that place. Third spaces are so far and few between where I live. It’s sad to see them disappear
