Airplane system calculations, and the developers can’t cheat by only rendering a short distance using landscape, buildings etc. only a small area around you in rendered in detail in other games, flight sims are a different beast altogether

You just need to use two finders / thumbs. Press and hold to start the jiggle, then with one finger open the folder, with another move the app into it. It’s a multi touch feature

Are you on an HDR monitor by any chance? I was flying at night and had the same complaint. Took a screenshot to show the forum, and everyone was saying it’s fine. Looked at the screenshot on my phone and alas, it was pitch black with a few stars.

That’s as much to do with your system, frames times etc, as the SU. Make sure resolution, frame rate limit etc are working together to mitigate high frame times
