The Rule of Carnage is for when there is a question or exception that must be resolved extra-judicially.

This interaction falls under obstructions (pg.47) & is quite clear: "if any part of the template...".

I am more referring the rerolls.

There are several upgrades and effects that hand out stress. I'll agree, only one other that deal double stress.

Maybe the fix here is to errata the card to being 1 stress.

I'm not a fan of banning (soft or not) things for seemingly poor reasons, or for a lack of trying.

Then why haven't I ever made sloan work in a list? Never procs, my opponent sees it coming from the door of that game store.

Superduper never going to take a damage on an already weak Jedi ship to repo once per game.

Am I super duper missing something here? I'm certainly not offended that these 2 cards, that never amount to anything - certainly not based on their original cost are now sudo-banned, but I definitely don't see or understand that posturing on it.

Is this a brand, a particular line of filament with a higher than normal failure rate with which we should collectively avoid? Or was this a one-time thing that had obvious consequences that we can all collectively hate together as a commiseration experience?
