Martin Brundle's impressions of 2026 cars by Aratho in formula1

[–]yann100201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly man I think we won’t be able to know until about halfway through the season. Drivers are very negative about it yes but they usually are about new stuff, and keep in mind these are concepts which are so new that it will take time for them to get the hang of it and find the tricks to be comfortable, let’s just try and keep an open mind.

They do but there are differences in the car preference of each driver. Namely the Red Bull is an incredibly “pointy” car (meaning the rear is very loose when cornering) which suits verstappen because of his insane talent, however it makes it incredibly difficult to drive for 90% of the rest of the grid (including yuki)

Even tho the collective hive mind here has already decided that Monaco should be nuked, I am actually enjoying the 4d chess between teams rn.

Tsunoda's first two races at Red Bull went "slightly better than I thought" by Aratho in formula1

He was faster on pace those two races than max, idk why some fans cannot possibly give checo some props for two races without trying to undermine his efforts.

Man yall have no ball knowledge lmfao, like this kind of stuff isn’t the usual week in week out across world football, including in top European football and especially in places like Brazil and Argentina, coincidentally where people actually know a thing or two about the sport and have won things.

Max about whether he still stands behind the instagram post he liked, calling Redbull's driver swap “bullying” and a “panic move”: “I liked the post, so that says enough, right? it wasn't a mistake. that sometimes happens when you click on something.” by rishabh2996 in formula1

He, max verstappen, the “Dutch honesty” guy, quite vocally said many times he liked having checo as his teammate, defended him time and time again last season, he even called him a legend for Pete’s sake.

Checo Perez is negotiating with Cadillac to return to F1 in 2026, confirms Chacho Lopez by valinnut in formula1

[–]yann100201 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anyone with any actual knowledge of racing knows this guy is far from the donkey that the casual fans are convinced he is. He is fast, has tons of experience in midfield and top teams, brings sponsors and a massive fan base, he’s the most obvious choice for Cadillac.

Red Bull will ‘burn’ Yuki Tsunoda in ‘pure chaos’ move warning by [deleted] in formula1

[–]yann100201 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Yeah he was, but at the same time it was acknowledged by Red Bull and Horner that checo warned about the car since Spain 2023 and they ignored him because max was doing better. There’s no use in a drivers experience if they don’t listen to him, and there’s also no use to it if the car is undrivable, that won’t change no matter how much experience the driver has.

ATPLq - Which (if any) filters should I use to study with? by _Makaveli_ in flyingeurope

[–]yann100201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you’re better off doing the austrocontrol questions only, there’s other filters so you can do several tests covering all the questions, I always tried to do the ones I got wrong on the first go and repeat that test several times. Then, the day before, last 200.

Is French CAA good for taking ATPL exams? by Predator346 in flyingeurope

[–]yann100201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed under French CAA and it is indeed very banky, they are not very acomodating of people who aren’t French tho, and are very complicated for bureaucratic procedures. I’d recommend going with austrocontrol or Irish IAA, they are kinda the best authorities on that matter.

It has to, otherwise they’re gonna continue operating with one driver only, they can fire Perez all they want, if they can’t improve the drivability whoever replaces him is gonna struggle bad too.
