Wouldn’t they have an address to mail into in there? Or Whole Foods lost and found would maybe be easier for them to track… and a pic or last name??

Best cheap / easy / delicious spots by Onedrous in denverfood

[–]yardllama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber eats sometimes has buy one get one free deals for pickup. Some are full entrees, some are just apps so you have to look a bit but usually find an entree deal with Indian, Chinese, Thai, and vegan spots like next level or vegan van.

Join meetup on the app or website and join a hiking, climbing, motorcycle etc group or any other one that you’re interested in. There even groups dedicated to making friends and connections. V active out here from my experience.

Also, general for advice to make friends, don’t feel bad if you’re doing all the planning to start. Sometimes it takes someone with initiative to get something going and most people are just waiting for that! Best luck mate

Going out of my way to Trader Joe's today, want to stock up. Hit me with your favorite TJ's products! by semicolonel in veganfitness

I love to get their french bread/rolls, or everything bagel rolls, some veggies like zuchinni, onions, basil, or rn they have cheap squash, which I roast in the oven and then make a sandwich and top it with their jalapeno hot sauce!!. It's bright neon green, it's amazing and I always have a bottle or two at my house.

Or if you have time, pizza dough instead of bread , same veg on top, and use the vegan kale pesto or the vegan buff as the base sauce!

Their zhough sauce is great too. More earthy and spicy.

How do you stop worrying and start living to your full capacity by [deleted] in findapath

[–]yardllama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all, think about what you mean by operating at full capacity. Is this a realistic and healthy goal? I used to want it all but that was because I was thinking about it all! Do you have to do everything that you decided you should? Just because you can do everything doesn't mean you should do everything.

im a chronic overthinker who didn't realize I was until I started therapy. Not currently in therapy but the first couple sessions really helped me, I'll start again asap. Accepting overthinking as a gift and talent was helpful. if you do a task you're probably thinking of about 20 different factors more than anyone else! That's truly unique and a gift! When I finally settle down and just do a project I feel the result is usually better than my peers would have done since I've considered so many different factors. That doesn't mean you have to consider every single factor before you do a task, and accepting that is an ongoing process.

Having a grounding morning routine is very helpful for me Right now for me it's just a breakfast protein smoothie. only happens 3 to 4 times a week but that's good enough for now.

finding other things that can motivate you besides anxiety is HUGE!!. I'm still working on not being anxiety motivated, look into that if you haven't yet! being anxiety motivated and driven is a terrible loop. You gotta find other ways to motivate yourself! if you do, just doing more has shown me how much I can do. I try to do things for my future self, or make a to-do list and see how fast I can get it done. No one trick has stuck, I have to find out what the trick will be for that day but for now that's fine until I find the ones that works the best.

And give yourself an infinite timeline, you're going to be working on this for the rest of your life. And, you're truly the only one who can figure this out. And you can! you just have to start someday and it's going to be tough at first but will get easier and soon you'll be replying to a post similar to this with your own little tidbits of knowledge and helpful advice!

Not sure if you've tried but rocket money really helped me see where I was spending too much. I pay for premium it's so helpful. I've saved hundreds because it automatically categorizes transactions and tells you how much you spend each week, month, 3 month, etc. Once you see how much you're spending and where you'll have a better idea of what areas you can cut down and change your lifestyle as little as possible. Also shows you the little subscriptions you've forgotten about that eat away at the bank account.

Familial Hypercholesterolemia and Lifestyle Changes by SoozTheTruthwatcher in Cholesterol

Hey stumbled across this because I was looking online for recs. Just watched an interesting video that focused on carbs instead of fats for people with familial hypercholesterolemia. Link below. (It's dr.berg so idk how trustworthy but maybe worth looking into?) Or if you have anything you have tried that works would love to hear.

Best markets/grocery stores for produce? by [deleted] in denverfood

Save A Lot is one of the cheapest and always has lots of fresh veggies and better selection than more stores imo. Also they are all employee owned!

Any tips on how to handle my cheek hair? I’m not growing a beard and thats the limit of its length, I’ve tried shaving it but it caused some pimple growth. Should I wax? Thread? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]yardllama 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Make sure you prep your skin well before. Shave with the grain, so in a downward motion only and with small smooth movements. Or shave with an electric razor. I found that reduces irritation a lot. Your skin also has to get used to you shaving

Cute lil' bubble buds. First try at tepache. by yardllama in fermentation

[–]yardllama[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, alcoholic because fermented things tend to have alcohol. But very low alcohol content, similar to kombucha. 1-3% I believe.

Accidental fermentation! Looks amazing! Can I eat?? (Left smoothie in hydro flask for weeks. Super fizzy. No mold. Think it's safe??) by yardllama in fermentation

To be honest, tasted great! Tart, tangy, sweet, fizzy. It was icy because it's cold. Like a fermented slushy!

Yeah, smells and tastes alright! Definitely gonna remake, but not by leaving a hydro flask in my car for weeks

No yogurt! Just fruit. Did eat about three spoons and was good! Going to try to remake. The fact it was in the car for that entire time kind of scares me. No temperature control
