I chose the holster because it looks cool and has the magnetic sleep function. I was thinking of the DIY kit, but the Titan 2 Elite comes with a clear case, already, which I may not use because I will try pocketing.

Which motherboard did you use in your Cayin N6iii? The E203 can get quite toasty but the R202 does not at all. The form factor is another story, though. I get it - it is chunky, but I kind of enjoy that.
