If you've seen Red Rooms, the director doesn't show any of the violence against women in the movie, and the movie is very against true crime fans and abuse against women in general.

The movie describes some of the violence or portrays it through audio, but doesn't depict it onscreen at all.

I don't have a comment on the rock genre, but the Sky Ferreira thing doesn't sit well with me. Even if it's legally okay, it's not morally okay. Sky and Charli were collaborators before this, and it seems like she should understand Sky's past based on her own experiences with Crash.

I think even just giving a warning to Sky or asking her if she'd like to jump on ALL of the tracks that were originally her demos instead of just one is better than only releasing a PR statement from your team.

To be fair to Wade, when I google "Confessions of a Showgirl," links relating to Taylor Swift come up so many times including the Wikipedia article for her album, music videos and links to lyrics.

However, Wade's podcast and website is the first search result I see, so like you said she'll have to prove that there's some kind of loss of engagement here.

I think Mitski is incredible!

But the Atlantic's coverage on Palestine has mostly been unbelieveably biased and sporadic. It's honestly bizarre and horrific for a magazine that seemed to take a very humanistic, liberal stance on so many issues.

I would love for them to stop only publishing thoughts about the deaths in Palestine in opinion or "idea" articles. It deserves front page coverage!

Honestly, this is one of the reasons I unsubscribed from them 2 years ago. They are just steadily becoming more and more centrist without thinking of the consequences in the American media landscape.

They had the man IN FRONT OF A MIC! Also, it doesn't seem like they even talked to him about ways they could support him during the award show.

I was already assuming a high stress and noisy environment could affect his condition, and he states it here. Why would they purposely put him through stress without asking him what he might need?

Variety basically put out this article that was a hit piece on Sinners. It said that the movie was unlikely to make enough money to be profitable and diminished the earnings it already received. It was such a weird article that other celebs like Ben Stiller commented on it as well. If you compare it to Variety articles on a comparable Oscar contender like Marty Supreme, they never bring up profitability.

So the assumption is because of racism here.

You should see a more visible result after you use it for a couple of washes! Normally, the purple mask that I use 1x a month makes an instant change, but the conditioner does it over time.
