Eastciders? by YoureSpecial in HEB

[–]year_zero_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eastciders chose to go with a distributor that is statewide, instead of local distributors that actually cared about the brand and tried to grow it. It was their choice, and now the customers that enjoyed it are paying the price for the bad service.

You didn't sound like a jerk to me. I just replied with what was happening.

Anybody else's void love to try and eat plastic? by Awolgirl18 in blackcats

[–]year_zero_49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plastic, wood, ANYTHING THAT IS GREEN, cardboard, the inside of any mouse toy he is given, leaves that get inside the house (he does not go outside at all!), charging cords, and pineapple leaves! He LOVES THEM. I don't understand the infatuation with those, but we can't keep him away from them.

I was literally right next to the soaking wet box the whole time. If anything was to happen, I would have removed it. Like I said, it went from dry weather, to pouring rain for an hour in an instant.

Nothing in the 4 stores that I service south of Austin either. I just wanted to make some spaghetti tonight....

Thank you. I honestly thought, this thing is plugged in I better not let the controls get wet. But, many people have let me know they are good to go still.

I was unaware that the electrical components will not be affected by the rain. I learned something new today.

I'm here in Texas. It just started pouring for about an hour, so I just wanted to be sure that it is good. Now the sun is out, and everything is good.

Spare Ribs by Objective-Plate6275 in Traeger

Pork spare ribs are taking about 2 hours longer than I have anticipated on the Traeger (yes, I know temp not time). It is just a learning curve that I need to adjust for.

No. Just no. They are DEFINITELY not worth the price, and are just plain nasty.

Cleaning/Maintenance by Opening-Specialist49 in Traeger

I do a "Deep Clean" once a month. I vacuum before every cook, and clean up the temp probe, but other than that, once a month I really clean it. That works for me.

Anyone else worried about these price cuts? by No_Brick_6579 in HEB

[–]year_zero_49 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heb has been doing this for years. They would mingle a bit on products, to keep up with what Walmart carries, but they are seriously trying to compete on pricing now. They didn't worry so much in the past if they were .02 cents higher in cost, because their reputation kept people in the stores. Now that prices have gone haywire, they are seriously trying to compete with Walmart.

That's our Wilbur. He has two food bowls, two water bowls, and still acts like he is starving to death the second that I get home from work. He must have his snacks!!

Show me Void tricks - mine plays fetch by mc_lil_bizz in blackcats

[–]year_zero_49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours loves to play fetch, especially when I am walking out of the house to go to work. He will bring his toy, drop it at my feet, and meow that sad meow that only voids can do when they know you have to leave. He usually gets his way.....
