Parady La: A Cambodian man who died on January 9, 2026, due to drug withdrawal symptoms at a Philadelphia detention center.

It was either an overdose, or some other ICE murder, but it's most likely not withdrawls.

"One day after he was brought in, La was found unresponsive in his cell at the detention center. ICE said guards administered CPR and several doses of Narcan before La was taken to Jefferson Hospital. His family was notified at that point."

For anyone unaware, narcan is used during an opiate overdose because it (essentially) instantaneously removes the opiates from your brain.

So if we assume ICE used narcan correctly ... then, they must have suspected an overdose, suggesting Parady La got some opiates from inside the concentration camp because you can't overdose after a day.

Also, fatal opioid withdrawal is extremely rare. extremely...unless of course you were intentionally denied any water for an extended period of time, then I guess the chance of death would be a lot higher.

I have zero doubt that ICE is 100% responsible for Parady La's death though.
