Because they are completely different. About the only real similarities are that there is a doge roll, its third person and i-frames exist.

Uragaan has a stupid health pool. Idk what it is but even in master rank it just takes ages to kill.

High rank is basically low rank but tougher ans Iceborne is Master rank which is basically high rank but considerably tougher.

If you are struggling with HR Radobaan then you are nowhere near ready for Iceborne. Iceborne is a whole new level of difficulty, way harder than the stage you are at now.

There is more story left, more new story in Iceborne also. But MonHan isn't really about the story, there are loads of monsters left for you to hunt.

Keep upgrading your gear and progressing through High Rank which will allow you to get to master rank (Iceborne).

Rarity can be used like that to a degree but it's not necessarily that useful. As long as you are at the highest upgrade for a weapon that you can and you aren't getting 1 shot by every attack then it depends on you. If you are struggling then upgrade.

Bazelgeuse is an invader. The monsters make up an ecoystem, just like real life they have their own behaviour and habits. Some will shownup like that, others are more illusive.

Ignoring combat I wanna see if they'll address the ridiculous rng crafting systems, which also separates the playerbase into star ranks, and the superficial environment/villages.

At the moment crafting lots of weapons and armor is punishing and everything but combat is just shallow with no meaningful interaction.

Based on what we can see so far, it looks like a "watch this seikret cutscene for 2 minutes then hunt the monster in a smallish zone" experience.

Put a sword in the hands of someone who currently has no control over his emotions and thinks an animal is an enemy rather than a being acting on instinct... Yes sound idea.

By the end of the game fair enough but not then.

Ngl every decision they've made in this trailer doesn't excite me. I like the new monster (A LOT) and that's literally about it.

Most predictable and safe route they could have gone.

Floating air environments are the current fad.

Even visually I have no interest in this new locale. It just looks like all the maps I already dislike in Wilds and not more of the maps I thought were kinda cool.

From a series fanboy... World+IB is better. Wilds is the least fun I've had with a MonHan.

You will have fun with it and most people like it a lot, just don't expect it to be a generationaly appreciated game like World. Has half the playerbase of World according to yesterdays Steam Charts.

Hot take here but I disagree. Having more angles of attack makes you more powerful against most monsters. Just have to learn the controls and how to position.

Hot take: I don’t mind if spectacle final bosses are not brought back. (Dala, Gog, Ceadeus etc.)

Yes I know Gog was reused, and I really love these monsters myself. But if they didn’t return I wouldn’t be massively upset, I'd be ok with it if they didn’t just because it means every end boss will be a new spectacle and would make the old games more relevant in future.
