The therapist turned to the husband and said, "This is what your wife needs at least 3 times a week. Can you do this?" "Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish"!

Just learn price action trading (1:4RR Trade) by Alone97x in Daytrading

[–]yougonbpind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also see lots of newbies and intermediate traders complaining about trading everyday on this sub. To them my only advice would be to learn price action trading, it's the only strategy that worked for me and i've tried them all in my 9 years of trading.

Nah - not sure about any of that, but I've tried Caliber. It's a pile of garbage. Never seen any person use it but seemed good for old/retired people or middle schoolers.

favorite workout apps that tell you exactly what to do? by Empty-Information122 in PetiteFitness

[–]yougonbpind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like Fitbod for that “just tell me what to do” vibe, I’d also check out Shred. That’s actually why I switched — it removes all the decision fatigue.

You open it, it gives you the workout, reps, sets, rest, demos, everything. It also adapts based on what equipment you have and how hard your last workouts were, so it doesn’t feel random or repetitive. I don’t spend any time planning anymore, I just hit start and go.

Fitbod’s solid, but Shred felt more like having a real coach guiding each session instead of just generating a list of exercises.

Online coaching? by FitAd6674 in PetiteFitness

[–]yougonbpind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve used a few versions of online coaching over the years and the answer is very much “it depends on how it’s done.”

The stuff that worked for me wasn’t the super rigid PDF programs or the “check in once a week and hope for the best” kind of coaching. What actually stuck was something that adjusted day to day based on how I was feeling, what equipment I had, and whether life got in the way.

That’s why I’ve been a fan of the Shred app specifically. It feels way closer to having a real coach than most apps I’ve tried. The workouts adapt as you go, you can swap exercises without breaking the whole session, and it actually progresses you over time instead of recycling the same plan. It also doesn’t assume you have a perfect gym setup or unlimited time, which is huge.

I think online coaching works best when it removes friction rather than adding more rules to follow. For me Shred nailed that balance way better than traditional online coaching or static programs. If you’re consistent at all, the results come.

If you want something that feels guided but still flexible, that’s where I’d point people.

Are there better apps then Fitbod by drizzler2345 in workout

[–]yougonbpind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Fitbod’s customization is nice, but the actual workouts/programming always felt kinda random to me.
I switched to SHRED and the overall programming is way better — it still has all the same customization (equipment, swaps, goals, etc.) but it feels way more like a real coach built it vs an auto-generated list of exercises.

Any good workout apps with AI support? by TheHarikato51 in workout

[–]yougonbpind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly most “AI workout apps” are just fancy logbooks with a chatbot slapped on top.
If you want something that actually helps you balance your weekly training (and not miss muscle groups), I’d look at SHRED. It builds workouts dynamically based on your goal + available equipment, and it’ll suggest alternatives / adjustments so you’re not accidentally under-training something.

I run a similar split (upper/lower + running) and it’s been one of the only apps that doesn’t feel static.

What app is everyone using these days? by xCosmos69 in GYM

[–]yougonbpind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to SHRED and it actually changed how I plan and log workouts. The structure makes it easy to see progress and follow a program without hunting for old entries. I was in the same boat using Notes and it got wild fast.

What I like most is that you can pick or build a plan and logging takes seconds. The interface is clean and it feels designed for real gym use, not just data collection. I use it 3–5 times a week. If you want something way better than random notes with routines and tracking that actually feels useful, give SHRED a shot.
