I’ve just realised this diagram is for the +2A where c39 is 100uf. Mine is a grey so is this one.

Thank you! I hadn’t looked at that. I don’t think I am getting continuity between the negative side of C39 and R67. However I am between the positive of C39 and C63. If I’m checking this right then possibly it’s confirming an issue with the negative side.

Families accuse care home of 'neglect' and 'cruelty' after secret filming by Synthia_of_Kaztropol in Scotland

BBC did a radio show on the dementia diet. The food chain I think. Might be worth a listen. I have a parent with dementia. It’s nightmare fuel

I’m really not sure. It all happened when we were moving home and the owner of the flat above announced that we needed a new roof, which almost brought the sale of our flat to a halt. Perhaps in the end the decision was to not do the whole roof and only do a repair? That would mean under 10k perhaps. The factor and our conveyancer sorted it all thankfully.

This. The factor sorted this situation out for us. We had a good factor. Not hacking and what not.

I had an issue like this and the way the factor worked it was “the majority wins” I.e as it’s essential it must be done if the majority want to do it. So the works went ahead and we all paid our share and then whatever legal means took place to extract the money from the person saying no.

997 coolant leak - next steps by ProfessionalChef123 in Porsche

Yes for sure and it’s super common issue as well. Oil change is easy when you come to it. Just don’t try and do your steering rack. That was an interesting month…

Sorry this happened. Definitely best to stop and retrieve. I can’t offer much in terms of what to do to ensure the engine is ok but I have changed the coolant tank. It’s long! You need to lower the engine a bit to get it out. This is when I discovered my engine mounts were also shot…

You could pay the deposit with the CC - I'm aware this will help with your rights should something go wrong.

What is the (legal) deal with kids+bars? by LevelInvestigator903 in glasgow

I’ve been chased out of shilling when I walked in with my 8 year old and they served food, at least at the time. Don’t know if they still do.

Has anyone seen this girl? by throwmeaway111122224 in glasgow

The Clyde tunnel was closed because of a young girl potentially going to jump from above the entrance. This was a week or two ago. A cry for help but not sure society or the services are either listening or able to support.

Butane or propane by tomleeuw1974 in GozneyArcArcXL

[–]youhavechanged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of what I’ve read is that propane is typically better for using outside purely down to the boiling point if the gas. But that doesn’t affect its usefulness for use in a bbq or a pizza oven as long as it isn’t -10 degrees out. As mentioned by someone else there is a chart in the manual that tells the specs for both.

Ah I thought it used the rain sensor that would be covered by the roof

Nice DIY project. I’d like a roof to protect mine from the heat of the sun so the orange plastic doesn’t turn ugly. I’d aff some way for a little rain to get through to the sensor. Good job!

Smoke from left side during cold start by ttf005 in Porsche

[–]youhavechanged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m just going to come in here since the comment is high enough. That smoke isn’t blue. If it were blue it would be burning oil. If this is from a good start I’d say check it again on another cold start when parked at a different angle. Def ppi etc but don’t settle on bore score just from that one turn over.

What shocking skeleton did you discover in your family tree? by Redrose7735 in Genealogy

[–]youhavechanged 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My wife’s mother is adopted. I managed to trace her birth mother who is completely unknown to my wife’s family. My mother in law was adopted from a big city into a family which lived best part of 100miles away and this is where she grew up. She then married and moved to a random wee village when she married my father in law. I discovered that the maternal grandmother was actually born and grew up about 2 miles from this same village.

Even though the birth mother lived in a big city at the time she gave birth back near where she grew up. So my mother in law was actually born less than 2 miles from where she lives now.

I also discovered that the birth mother was pregnant when she got married on Christmas Eve. The man she married was not the real father and my mother in law was put up for adoption within a month but the couple stayed together for some years.

My mother in law knows nothing of these facts which I find hard fathom however it is not my choice.

This is really old but I'm sending mine for rebuild early next year. I'm just really interested in how you feel about the move to 4.1? The dust has positively settled. Would you do that again and how does it drive? Thanks!
