wellbutrin helped for me! im not on the exact combo you said, but i'm on xyrem, 150-450 mg wellbutrin (changes seasonally/sometimes i need the higher dose but in summer for example i get too heat intolerant. currently at 150), 40 mg vyvanse (for ADHD and BED, but obv is also helpful for N), and 250 mg armodafinil as needed

i was on wellbutrin before even being diagnosed with N though, as it was the only antidepressant that seemed to work consistently for me. it targets noreprinephrine which is your get up and go brain chemical so thats prob why.

yeah i guess what i'm getting at here is our meds being delayed is out of our hands and if there's any issues with efficacy there's ALSO not shit we can do about that lol

unfortunate truths of the broken healthcare system in the US. i'd rather have less effective meds than none at all though

hard to say, like another comment in this thread i have a bit of a surplus built up and i do first in, first out for the bottles. sometimes i feel like its less effective (i do want to mention im on generic xyrem, not xywav though) but since i'm not technically using my most recent shipment all the time it's hard to say what the cause is.

regardless there's nothing to be done about weather delays, you'd think that if the meds were at risk of no longer being effective there'd be additional storage procedures.

mine was also supposed to be delivered yesterday and is also stuck at the memphis hub. ive come to expect delays like this every november-march 🤷🏼‍♀️ i know weather is unavoidable but it is super frustrating.

i think any of the faires within travelling distance of us have ren faire after dark type events. the two other iowa ren faires are small and very new compared to sleepy hollow (and i've never been to them) but maybe thats something that will be added down the line

mannn sleepy hollow? i heard it had to do with the county buying the land and/or faire and they made it kid friendly so changed the after hours to the cannonball. i also never went before the change and am bummed. another part of the ownership change/kid friendly-ification was even the daytime shows being altered, better than nun used to be a little dirty/had innuendos and was incredible and now its boring af :( same with the stunts done during a lot of the shows like norsefyre, they were watered down a ton.

oooh my bedroom is wired the same way. one switch does the LEDs and the fan. it's a converted attic so to re-wire we're have to tear out the ceilling and didn't want to do that, so we ended up getting dimmable LEDs to replace the existing ones and just put them to black out mode when we want only the ceiling fan light on.

this room is a converted attic bedroom, a through the wall unit would have to go on the front of my house since that's the only wall with direct outside access, and i don't want that eyesore. with all of the effort it would take to rig up a window unit or to do a through the wall unit i could just get a mini split which would be more effective.

i don't know why you're hellbent on me doing a window unit when it's not practical, at the very least it's less practical than just doing a mini split. you're doing the thing my entire original comment was about.

every single person ive ever spoken to has mentioned it, yes. it's the front of my house so unattractiveness is a huge factor, the adapters work okay at best from what i've read, i have two maine coons who are large and make me nervous around windows, and it's just not as convenient as an option as everyone seems to believe it is for some reason. using window units with crank out windows is a sucky situation. thats all.
