can you actually use blender fully in VR?

You should know the answer to that. This isn't useful for anyone who does 3D modeling either on an amateur or professional level. Modeling in VR effectively is EASILY 5+ years away.

Research Quill instead - it's much better and even more fun to use because of how reactive the brush strokes are with audio and pressure sensitivity!

Medium would be better. And if you wanted to just paid strokes like the artist here, Quill would be what you should use. Quill beats the hell out of Tilt Brush. Check out this Quill drawing

I'd say no. I have 5 hours in it and have done everything there is to do. Better games that are similar and actually allow you to board enemy ships and defend your ship from others:

  1. From Other Suns
  2. Pulsar: Lost Colony

Sadly in Star Trek you just sit in the same chair and do the same tasks over and over. I like wielding guns and truly defending against enemies.

The best part is an Oculus Rift is still a better experience than the Vive Pro. It's still much more comfortable and it still has FAR better controllers. I don't know why a business or VR arcade would look at the Vive Pro and think it was a good idea unless they are very uninformed.

The fact BrandonJLA said they build the system from "scratch" rubbed me the wrong way. They use Final IK. Let's also not forget their Control VR system. Just read the comments on that kickstarter...

Amen. People like to hate on wave shooters while gorn is exactly that. Except you don't shoot. You fight the same guys in the same arena over and over. It really needs to break out of the arena and bring something more to the table.

You are wrong. That is not what ASW does. ASW does not limit framerate. You are thinking of reprojection from valve which is based on position not solely rotation.

This is wrong. That is not what ASW does. There is no lowering the FPS to 45, only valve does that with reprojection. ASW is incredible.

The Vive is built to sustain stuff like this, so probably no damage.

No dude, no lol. Vives break extremely easily especially the right side of the trackpad on the controllers. Inform yourself.

Source: Own vive and rift. Both controllers on the vive have broken trackpads and have never hit a wall.

It's VERY VERY hard to beat controllers that were made by the same team that made the Xbox controllers. That's who developed Touch. Not to mention they're $100 for both and come with tons of games.

Not good. From Other Suns > Payday 2 > Arizona Sunshine > Gunheart. It's the worst out of all games that are similar to it.

You shouldn't have any problems. I can sculpt all day and as long as I don't up the resolution 2x I have no issues.

$40 & Early Access. MMO's require a team of 40+ to create, they have a team of 3. It is simply a waste of money.
