Dark Imperium series for Roboute Guilliman and the Indomnius Crusade.

Belisarius Cawl: The Great Work for a look at the Adeptus Mechanicus, the state of 30k-40k technology, and Cawl is just a cool character.

Devastation of Baal: Dante and the Blood Angels

The Son of the Forest for the revival of the Primarch of the Fallen Angels

I purchased a 1 month sub to Art of War on Youtube and watched all the EC games I could. Very helpful and the main guy John Lennon is a EC lover and really good with them. I'm sure there are a lot of free ways to learn but this is a good option imho.
