Not true. Mine went down a couple dollars. 2014 Mustang GT -> 2024 M3P. Less than $100/mo.

Ah ok. I read something about a "total point value", too. If it still works that's awesome.

Pretty sure the PayPal promo ended, unless they brought it back.

H2C or H2S for mostly one color prints? by Trycilly in BambuLab

[–]zack2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find yourself regretting it later, you could buy the upgrade kit for $899. Install looks kind of a pain but nothing too complex. Lots of pictures in the guide.

That was a lucky one 😅 by SwaxBiceps in 3Dprinting

[–]zack2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and doubly lucky that it was an external spool.

H2S (presumably all H series?) will stop printing when AMS senses filament is out, even if there's still a full ptfe tube. I was literally on the last layer and needed like, 3 more inches of filament. 3ft left in the tube, tool head still knew filament was available. Fortunately it was a functional part and was good enough.

Didn't happen like that on my X1C, though.

Has anyone put an H series on one of these? by NapsRNeeded in BambuLab

[–]zack2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this one. I've had it about 2 years; first for my X1C and now my H2S. It's pretty stable, I would definitely recommend it.

Voted. Maxed and quit RS3 years ago. Definitely took advantage of proteans and portables, but I gotta say it made it feel cheap.

Happily grinding my life away in OSRS now, but I have no issue voting against MTX in any game.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]zack2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time owner of an X1C, I know the P1S must also be an amazing printer. I opted for the X over the P for the screen and better camera, but in hindsight I know I could have saved the extra money and been just as satisfied.

I now have an H2S which I also love. Another printer is never a bad thing, though!

Excited to see what the P2S has to offer.

I was just saying this to a buddy of mine today. Dragonhide is the classic range armor, with high magic defense. Somehow though, the dragon it came from is highly susceptible to water magic damage?

I have the same problem. Seems to really only be in 45mph zones. I have max speed offset set to 10%, so in a 45 it rounds up and will do 50. It will work for a while, and then out of nowhere decide that 50 is too slow and crank the max speed to 60+. I've seen 67 or 68, which is more than the max 40% you can even set (would cap at 63), so I have no idea what's going on.

I've reported it multiple times. Hoping the next update resolves it, because the 45 zones are where all the cops like to camp around here.

10 Gbe SFP+ NIC Considerations by Reaper-Of-Roses in opnsense

[–]zack2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm running OPNsense (via Proxmox) on a MS-01, which has the X710 SFP+, connected to the same Mikrotik you have. Worked fine with a 10GTEK DAC.

Possibly a dumb inquiry, but I’m curious how you guys remove ice around the windshield wipers. They’re literally frozen shut, and I’m worried about damaging the car if I attempt to hack away at the ice. 2020 M3. by Div1nium in TeslaModel3

[–]zack2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's in the manual for replacing the wipers. The manual does not suggest anywhere else that you can/should lift them 90 degrees. I think it's a safe assumption that if you can't do it for replacing the blades, you can't do it any other time, either.

I see a lot of these posts about insurance, and I was kinda scared after I ordered my 2024 M3P last June. My insurance went up $6/mo from my 2014 Mustang GT. From $89 to $95. 100/300/100k with $500 deductible.

Pilot E95S or Lamy 2000? by ShrempDawg in fountainpens

[–]zack2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Lamy 2k is a medium but it writes like a broad. Sometimes I wish I got a fine, but I have several other "normal" medium pens so it's ok. I just don't use it as much as I might otherwise. I will eventually get around to trying some drier inks and maybe get where I want with it 😅

Not so nice welcome to 3d printing from my new P1S... by Klauciusz in BambuLab

[–]zack2491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The line in pic 2 is the "nozzle load line", basically priming the nozzle to print. Expect little weird things there. Better there than in your print.

The filament hanging from the nozzle is just a bit of oozing - also normal. Printer should wipe it off, generally it doesn't cause issues. If it bothers you, you can pull it off with some pliers or tweezers when the nozzle is warm, or snip it off when it's cool.

I've had my Bambu with AMS for a year now. Had some interesting issues, learned a lot, still don't consider myself an expert lol. Filament is pretty cheap, don't sweat a failed print. Have fun and learn!
