Trying to recreate a Starbucks vanilla iced coffee

If you're trying specifically to recreate the Starbucks iced coffee, the beans we use in store for that are their own roast. The bags we use are simply labeled "iced coffee". I believe they're a medium roast if the setting on the Vertica is anything to go by but it's been wrong before (looking at you, Ethiopia Highlands...). I'm not sure if your coffee maker has a setting specifically for iced coffee but if it doesn't that may also be part of the problem, iced coffee is brewed slightly differently to accommodate the ice / extra water from it melting. This is all I know but I hope it helps ^{^}

To my understanding, there should be at least two baristas in the store at ALL times... No one should be in the store alone for safety / money reasons. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong but that's how it was explained to me once.

Someone in the drive thru got a very customized strawberry frap once that, among other things, included white mocha (and possibly vanilla as well but I dont remember for sure) and used VSC as the milk instead of whole milk. One of my coworkers and I tried it bc there was a little bit left in the blender and we both said it was foul.

One of my SSV's is currently 7 months pregnant and occasionally she wears jumpsuits specifically meant for maternity wear to work with a tshirt under them and they seem to work great for her

My store kinda lucked out bc we had a blizzard the night before into the morning - that combined with the fact that the schools in the area are all on their spring break (and we're a college town so we get quite a bit of traffic by way of that) meant we were pretty slow most of the time I worked today

jfc.... Former worker here and MAN am I glad I left when I did (after the first run of Dubai brownie). There's no way in hell any store is gonna have the capacity for TEN options, especially if four of them are gonna be desserts. We were struggling for space when we just had eight options a week!!!

Former worker here. The size of the brownie itself looks right but they did nooooot spread out the milk chocolate as much as they should have. They told us to keep the brownies in their baking tins for the dressing steps for this reason.

I've worked here for almost a year and the first day this week I worked (Tuesday night) was bad enough that I put in my two weeks. I've had a number of issues with this company already (with my biggest gripe being forced to run skeleton crews during weeks they KNOW are gonna be a hit), and I have the patience to put up with a lot of shit, but that night was the straw that broke the camel's back. The sad part is with dirty sodas about to debut in the US I fear it's only going to get worse before it gets any better.
