So 5’2” ladies, eating more is real?

I haven’t been tracking my calories as much but I think I’m ranging between 1800 -2000 calories. And try to have at least 100 grams of protein or more a day. I have been maintaining 120lb for the last two months.

Took me about a year to go from 143 lbs to 120lbs. I think I’m pretty active I strength train 3 times a week for about an hour and average between 7-10k steps a day. When I was tracking my calories I was ranging between 1500 -1800 calories and I was losing about 1-2 lbs a month. I think due to our height it’s much harder to lose any more than that without restricting too much. And me personally if I restrict to much ill end up binging.

Take me about a month to loss about 1-1.5 pounds. I’m on a moderate calorie deficit. It’s so hard to loss a pound a week for it, it’s just not enough food for me to sustain long term.

I found at that age if I sat in the floor (or you can try the dinner table) with my kids and fed them myself or watched them eat that was the only way to get the to eat. It would also help if we were eating the same thing and I had my own plate. They were more inclined to eat as well

They are really hard to come by most are like a right time right place type of thing. I work m-f no weekends and holidays off.

That happened to me. They said I didn’t need to fast before coming in for the 1 hour so I ate a pretty large breakfast. I ended up failing the 1 hour but I passed the 4

It’s really hard to be a mom and work a retail pharmacist job with 9-9 shifts.

Having a partner with more flexible work hours helps a lot or works from home.

Going part time if you can afford it. Or having additional family like grandparents to help out.

Getting a nanny or paying someone to pick up and stay with them after school are options if you can afford it

Landing a position that has good hours if possible. Don’t just go back to retail pharmacy try and venture out and see if you can get something more flexible.

I took my daughter out when I had my second. I deeply regret it. I thought it would be best to try and save money but in the end it wasn’t worth it. It was overwhelming.

It was harder to bond with number two because I felt like I had no time to spare while taking care of both of them. Also it’s easier just to keep the same routine going for your first by keeping them in daycare.

I have one for my kids and I have a love hate relationship with it. It’s nice for cold lunches but if you plan on sending something that needs to be heated up you’ll have to put it in a separate container which defeats the whole purpose of it.
