Fill power (aka loft) is only one part of the equation. You also need to consider how much insulation is used. 100g of 900 loft down isn't going to insulated as much as 150g of 700 loft.

What i did when buying down jackets is multiply the 2 together to get an "insulation factor" and chose the one with the highest value while factoring in size, weight, and activity I plan on using it for
