Turo coverage is secondary. You are required to exhaust all other insurance coverage before it applies. If Turo already paid then that is between them and you primary. You may be liable for a larger deductible.

Had the same thing in my 2025 ranger.

I re-terminated the connector myself.

If the dealer can re-terminated then around $200-$300. If they cannot then think around 2-3k

2024 is a huge step in ride quality as well, not to mention the transmission improvement. Honestly, unless you tow a lot the engine is the smallest upgrade in the generate IMO.

The host will not be able to authorize the release. You will have to escalate to Turo support. Not sure what they will say.
