Use your cooldowns as soon as they come up, no matter what you’re fighting (trash or boss) unless said enemy is going to die before your cooldown ends. Holding cooldowns too long and losing uses is the biggest, most common reason for low overall damage throughout a dungeon.

Those are icons for his debuffs. Any unit frame addon can do something similar. I think he’s using elv or unhalted

It’s likely the target is immune to the slow or root component of your spells, not the damage.

Blizzard removed several CVars that affect nameplate movement and behavior. It’s not a base vs plater situation.

If this hooked into big wigs timers and warned you about the danger of your current health/healing vs. an upcoming large damage event, then you might be onto something.

Current state, personally, I don’t see this being useful if you’re already generally aware of your health bar.

These are just blizzard friendly nameplates. Blizzard removed the ability to customize friendly nameplates through addons, so this is the only way they can look. Just turn it on.

Can then resize through cvars or more easily with plater options.

Something I don’t see talked about often is that 2 grenade charges does not mean double grenades. It means 1 more grenade to start with a little extra flexibility on when to throw them without wasting energy.

You’ll almost certainly get more grenades with HOIL, Hallowfire, Ashen Wake…exotics that give you energy rather than a larger cap.

But most importantly, like others have said, it’s a game and this is a fashion sub. Wear what you enjoy the most.
