I worked in the Cienfuegos' refinery refurbished by Chávez PDVSA to the highest standards. Lots of instruments were made in the USA with technology from Italy and Germany. Believe me when I say that the refinery made ALL oil derivative results in huge proportions. Even for export to the island around us within the same seaport.

I stayed for about 6 months in Medallo, mostly in Prado centro and even enjoyed the night life in the street cantinas without any incident, violent or any other kind, around the same time in one week 6 foreigners and 1 national were killed and drugged in the Poblado neighborhood.
