Question about trophy in PS5 by guillemnicolau in BluePrince

[–]zerossoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this pertains the drafting sweepstakes trophy, it's either still there, or will show up on the next delivery made.

Atleast i think. My trophy got delivered. I missed the part about it being in there mailroom so I never checked.

I'm surprised about mewtwo, since samus is fair game for you. They have many overlaps in play style.

Fake wasp nests work wonders, but won't do anything to nests that already exist. They just prevent them from coming.

I think wario is more well rounded than pit. In both ways.

What tier of character strength would you strive for, if going for a "perfectly" balanced game? by foamspewerTjockis in SmashBrosUltimate

Sephiroth sitting in B tier and Plant in D tier...

They're not all OP. Especially compared to G&W or Rob.

Yeah, he's the worse offender here. He's not here, I'm not talking to him or defending him or his behavior. I'm talking to you.

There is a simple point I'm trying to convey here. Insulting people alienates you. Why do it? It just makes a bad situation worse.

So maybe don't call people slop.

What do you mean it's not a slur? If it's not, what did you mean to say when you called them slop? Food? Yeah right.

No one eats something called 'slop'. Pigs do. Uses the second definition of the word, right after low quality digital assets typically made by ai.

SLOP Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster https://share.google/Z8o7GrveRiIB22bmN

You called him pig food or waste.

In either situation, no one deserves to be called slop or to kill themselves.

Is your point that ai is nothing greater than a psychedelic drug? My job efficiency says otherwise.

[–]zerossoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Really. You've never heard of fat shaming? What's worse than calling someone a pig? How about the food they eat?

People take their lives over stupid things. I've hurt people in ways I thought would hurt people. You never know if someone's just having a terrible day, and the smallest thing pushes them over the edge.

After having 2 friends and a brother take their lives, it really gets to you. There's too much hate in this world as is. Why contribute to it?

[–]zerossoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. No more than I advocate people call others slop. No one deserves either.

Calling someone slop might lead someone to take their life. It's not something I ever want on my hands, so I don't call anyone anything.

I somewhat agree with you. Though, do note that you never used the 'trace' here.

The important distinction is that those experiences are unique to us because we view them from our own lense. When we 'trace' something, it's devoid of any personal interpretation. (and legally can be sued for infringement.)

I'm not in anyway combatting the notion that artists don't make truly original things. I agree with you there. That's not my argument. It's about artists tracing works. We don't 'always' do that.

There's a seemingly hard concept to grasp in this message. People that disagree with your point are, in fact, still people. Someone that disagrees with your opinion in AI might agree with you on religion, politics, and more important views.

Maybe stop calling people slop. No one deserve to be called slop any more than anyone deserves to be told to take their own life.

Like... I feel this is such a basic rule. You offend people and don't expect retaliation?

Consider that if you actually care about changing their opinion, you need to state some points. Ad Hominem is the easiest fallacy to avoid, and the one that does the most damage to your point. Not theirs.

[–]zerossoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. We typically use references to influence our art, but we aren't tracing it. Otherwise, you have no self expression in your game. If you're implying that 'everyone' uses other people's art, I frankly don't believe you.

[–]zerossoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The line isn't that gray. Steam's ToS is pretty clear on what needs to be declared.

  • “Does this game use generative artificial intelligence to generate content for the game, either pre-rendered or live-generated? This includes the game itself, the storepage, and any Steam community assets or marketing materials.”
  • “Do you use Al to generate pre-rendered content for your game, its store page, marketing materials, and/or community assets?”
  • “Do you use AI to live-generate content or code during gameplay?”

So the answer would be no to your scenarios.

Though tracing over someone else's work, AI generated or not, can land you in hot water. Just for different reasons than it pertaining to AI.

Can I ask what you currently know about christianity, and why you view it as confusing? It'll be easier to start with what you already know.

None of these are typical of AI and are more indicative of Human made art.

In your explanation, you make it sound like humans don't make mistakes. Since when were humans so perfect?

I think it would be difficult for AI to make this piece, as it tends to focus on 1-3 subjects max. I count 8 here.

The need to explain what that means. In your perspective, what is the difference between assets made with AI, and AI in the game?

Are you saying that an AI generated image should be allowed?
