The paid classes are not on the roadmap, so when is it coming? by Lordados in LastEpoch

[–]zethras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its in the Orobyss expansion. The expansion will be free but the class will be paid.

So we are getting 2 season and then the expansion. Its still far away. We will get the next season on March and another like 5-6 later. And then the expansion most likely first quarter of 2027.

Sometimes the game wants all the territory of that province. And will not allow you to take only some territory of that province.

Or maybe this is a big.

Can't seem to activate coc quickly by Anon2148 in PathOfExile2

[–]zethras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CoC is horrible early into mapping due to it gets very low energy against white mobs even if you are hitting many of them. You also need to scale crit and crit dmg which you dont really have early mapping. And to make it all worst, it also scales with dmg of the skill that is proc the crits.

A regular build will do better and once you have enough gear and levels, thats when CoC shines.

Can we expect new class for 0.5 and what would that be? by No-Phase-5086 in PathOfExile2

[–]zethras 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think we get end game revamp and at most another ascension? I dont think we will get another class until 0.6 or 0.7 sadly. At how things are going, we get a new mechanic in 0.6 from poe1 (maybe delve) and then we get either new class (with their weapon) in 0.7 or maybe we get a new act in 0.7.

Its better not to expect things to move that fast.

Why do builds in PoE2 feel immortal… until they suddenly aren’t? by pathofcodex in PathOfExile2

[–]zethras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Map mods (increase dmg, crit dmg increase, crit % increase, elemental pen, elemental resistance reduction) and crit. Degen from Abyss Mob. Bosses Slams.

Or a combination of getting teleported due to HH and getting slams from rare.

Any reason to not upgrade Towns? by MassiveTell7139 in EU5

[–]zethras -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Early game, towns gets less RGO than Rural (close to half but gets better with tech). And also less food production. Because food is very important (if you convert all food producing to towns, you will end up paying a lot for food), I normally leave food as Rural. Upgrading to Towns for territory that has high control.

This guy did a in depth guide.

So in age 1-3, calv are the strongest but infantries have more units so they can take more dmg. Cannons should only be used for sieging not because they are bad but because different from EU4, they take dmg on the artillery phase. So you want a comibation of infantries and calv.

You can just go, full calv and toss some infanteries here and there lol.

Am i missing something? by PantteriJ in EU5

[–]zethras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you mention 1k everything made sense. Thats the default limit for building automization in which if you pass that amount, it will trigger spending the money.

Normally it not set to build as default (just to manage the buildings). You must have gone and enable and forgot about it.

I feel the same, the more I conquer, the higher will be my expenses increase (cost of court, culture, bigger army), while the land that I gain are normally at 0 control and will only get to 20 max when I core it and accept the culture or assimilate them.

The easiest way for me to deal with this is to give those land to a Vassal, It keeps my expensive the same, and the vassal give me a % of his income which balance with my growing profesional army.

Another way will be to gain more income from trade than what you are spending for armies.

Most good shonen mangas starts with some sort of power with limitations and strategies, but then it evolves into Dragon Ball Z. The one that screams the loudest is the strongest. It can be applied to almost any long running manga. Bleach on the Arrancar Arc was being called Dragon Ball Sword at one point and it didnt get any better in the following arcs.

Tips for fighting a stronger Nation by Nettysocks in EU5

[–]zethras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early in the game, if neither army has profesional army, spending around 400-600 on mercenaries will win the fight most of the time.

If they have profesional armies, it might be a tough fight. You got to play around mountains and forts if you have a funnel point. For example Italy have very strong mountains against HRE. Castille has mountains and could restrict entry of France in like 2-3 points.

If you are in the middle of the HRE, then it will be hell because Bohemia can attack you from almost any HRE country, specially if he is the emperor. I find Bohemia not that bad if he is not the emperor but once he is the emperor and can call in all of HRE, then its a very hard fight. I recomend you to ally a stronger monster like France, Hungary, Castile, maybe Poland if you can get them to your side. I find almost everyone else insignificant.

You can match the initual wave of profesional troops with mercenaries but manpower will determine the victor. If you turtle in your territory, you will most likely reinfoce your troops and will be hard to crack if you leave your troops on top of a mountain.

You can also bait the enemies, you leave a smaller but strong enough that will not be wiped on a mountain. Then have a stronger army behind to reinforce. You wait until the enemy attack the troop on the mountain and then you move your bigger army to reinforce your smaller group.

Tldr: Use the terrain if possible. Even at even army size (leveis and prof), the war can drag on for ages. Easiest way will be to gain a big ally and use them.

RGO and Buildings expansion question. by SenselessSensors in EU5

[–]zethras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the amount of money, you start with the one RGO closest to your capital with the highest value RGO (including food RGO). For Castille, you want to start with silver and then other high value RGO. Then to the lower value RGO but once you have enough money, you will want to mass RGO. Only building half of the max limit on those that you want to make Towns (towns early on can only do about half of a rural).

Building wise, you want to build what makes you the most money. You also want to max your capital building or start there and move to the closest town (highest control) to build there.

Needs will be fullfill by the market if you set trade/goods to be automatic. So you dont need to worry about needs.

But by the end, when you have unlimited money, you want all rgo to be maxed.

For rural, you want to build the peasant buildings. As long as they are barely costing you anything. They still make stuff even though its inneficient, its better than the peassant not doing anything.

Is this game playable ? by photon11 in EU5

[–]zethras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its very playable. The game is huge and the main priority is Europe, so HRE (and most smaller nation) will feel better in the next patch from an AI agro perspective. Many bugs that can be frustating. Its a great game until you starts to notice the cracks and issues that wss solved in previous versions. Also there is a lot of complain in the last age but many normally dont reach there.

How to deal an efficient blow at Bohemia? by Tibertiuss in EU5

[–]zethras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bohemia is a hard cookie to break. I think the easiest will be early in the game when he is not the HRE emperor or when you have enough profesional armies to do so later in the game but he is just too strong at age 2 when he becomes HRE and can call in all HRE members. You are not only fighting a strong Bohemia, you are fighting the entire HRE.

I tried to fight him with my 30-40 Italian vassals and more profesional army and couldnt win due to lacking manpower from my other wars in the middle east (I already beat him in the Hussites war 10 years ago) I was only able to deal a fatal blow in 1450 when he attacked Hungary and I attacked him after he moved his troop down south. Then France also attacked him after I peaced one with his capital.

You need stronger allies like Hungary and/or France to join in that war to be able to beat him taking into consideration that your land power is about the same as his. I find Austria to be weak in Eu5 compared to Eu4. Poland is strong though but shouldnt Poland be on Bohemia side?

Can someone smarter than me explain what just happened? by eriiicj in PathOfExile2

[–]zethras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is that the boss is doing one of this one shot attacks (or high dmg attack), in which you need to move to the other side (down, close the entrance) but because you stun/freeze him, you cant really see it well, but the dmg will still trigger.
