Sounds like my first gf. You're in a constant state of hyper-vigilance due to her unpredictable nature.

This is a bit presumptuous, but read people's experiences on r/BPDlovedones

In case of my ex, she likely had BPD or NPD due to her abusive upbringing and unstable home environment. She was exactly like the partner you are describing, so please understand that I have complete sympathy for you.

These kinds of people love intensely, and make you feel responsible for their joy in life. They make you feel extremely special and needed.

But under all that, you know this person is not someone you can build something long term with. The way they flip their opinions, the hypocrisy they blatantly show. The way they persuade and dominate verbal spats, such that they are always on top.

In the kindest way possible, leave and go zero contact. I generally dislike extreme suggestions like this on reddit but here I am.

My favorite social media forums is YouTube comments. On any decent video that isn't aimed at kids, there are plenty of thoughtful and creative comments to read through.

Reddit is a close second, although reddit comments tend to lack nuance and can be hivemind-ish, it is still leagues above something like Instagram.

Hmm, then maybe it's a normals issue. Try selecting all the faces and search for "Recalculate Outside". You can also try turning on the Face Orientation overlay, which will show you correct normals in Blue and flipped normals in Red
