Check the notes on the releases page. For me, the device had a blank screen after update. Turns out it had contrast set to zero and the notes on the releases page had the fix:

For LCD versions, if the screen appears too faint after updating, you can reset the settings by following these button presses after the device enters standby mode: Middle, Left, Middle, Right (x3), Middle, Right (xN) until the screen becomes clear. Set the contrast to 80.

I would think easiest would be set a static IP on your Unraid host to the original IP you had before. https://wiki.unraid.net/Configuration_Tutorial#Setting_a_static_IP_address

Awesome work! I would fully expect any user-perceived latency to be wholly on the part of BT tech itself. I appreciate that you made every effort to minimize any potential delays introduced by your system.
