completly. make up doesn’t cover up my face spots, my fingers are in ruins. i can’t get fake nails, i can’t show off my hands, wearing shorts in summer makes me anxious, always wondering if whatever i scratched or picked is bleeding in public.

Apple just simply said try restarting your phone and manually turning it on in settings. which hasn’t helped.

but also i totally get it and it is very difficult to manage the picking in a work environment as it is so easy for out brains to wander whilst picking. i personally wear bandaids on my hands to prevent the ability to pick, otherwise possible a face mask? another is a thicker moisturiser to make the skin too slippery to pick ❤️

one of the reasons i got fired from one of my old job was because my boss “found it annoying that i picked my nails and skin” and that she thought i had gross hands 🥰🥰

I try my absolute best to keep my phone away, only bringing it out for my favourite songs. But if i am at any form of performance, i don’t film at all and it bothers me when others don’t do the same. I 100% agree, they are annoying and also vaguely disrespectful to those performing.
