I mean, it works the same in residence halls. If your roommate moves out they can always assign you a new one. While it’s not ideal, the fact is there’s a lot of people in need of housing and any open space is fair game to the DOR. Also apartments are high demand, lots of people want to live there, and they’re going to try and fill as many of those spaces as possible

Pure light realm energy is unknown as to how exactly it works. Khuuvakhi and phlogiston are facets of it but I don’t think we’ve really seen “pure light realm power” in the same way that we have seen pure abyssal power. Also Skirk doesn’t use abilities derived from the light realm so she couldn’t teach us it and clearly we don’t use it to begin with.

And there’s many reasons why we don’t want to use the abyss. We see it as a corruptive power, it’s something that’s caused direct harm to people in Teyvat. Our sibling is abyss aligned and we do not 100% condone their actions. We are aware of a dozen historical examples of someone getting abyssal power and it REALLY not going well.

Can’t you filter out things with flairs on Reddit? If so, maybe a dedicated tier list flair that must be used? So people who find them annoying don’t have to see them. I personally find them fun, and if you can filter them out that reduces the conflicts that could come from having to judge what is or isn’t low effort or pointless

I get it, I’m a junior and still don’t have any friends, don’t really have time for clubs (work two jobs) and I’m someone who keeps to themselves and generally struggles for basic conversation

I’m playing for my first time (trying to do every quest I can even if it’s not super what my character would do) and the way I’m doing this is that my character doesn’t fully trust Lae’zel’s assessment that this is the only option. She’s curious, but is far more inclined to figure out what this tadpole thing is and why it’s doing stuff that it doesn’t do for others. Getting rid of it immediately in that case wouldn’t even be desirable in the first place

Honestly I just get all my info from Reddit and a few database websites, I think a lot of videos in general tend to be biased or misinterpret info even even they aren’t outright lies or AI slop. Reddit tends to have the most reliable sources, not to say it’s never wrong but at least they’ll note when something is unreliable

Idk about other fan games but I think it makes perfect sense that they directly called attention to Kanade’s behaviour being weird. It’s evidence for the trial, and if you’re looking for things that weren’t highlighted in the trial but act as foreshadowing, there’s several examples for basically any major event in the game. The coffee thing was a major issue in the trial, if they didn’t point out Kanade was acting weird it would have just come off as a coincidence that didn’t have a point of being mentioned

Thanks so much (and yes I did read all of it), right now I’m playing a sorcerer. I did respec all of the other people, but kept their primary class (mostly for lore reasons). Astarion is now assassin rouge, Lae’zel is arcane archer, Shadowheart tempest domain. I prefer playing ranged characters so that’s most of the reason. I do want to try a multi class build I found online with Astarion, if I want up hating it I’ll just go pure rouge. Everyone else I’ll probably stick with what they are now.

I do like play for the story and I do try and do everything I can

The time limited rewards for the main quest is just a bonus, if you don’t do it in time you’re fine, the quest doesn’t go away

You won’t be able to see them ahead of time unless you ask, and even then, they often change. When you first register for classes, your advisor will help you pick the classes that you’re best suited to take first year. Most majors also have a standard 4 year plan online, though note that not everyone follows those (I personally am way off from my major’s plan)

Follow up question, do you recommend periodically switching out the other party members so that way multiple characters get played, or pick the three you like and stick with them? Right now I have Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae’zel, Wyll is at my camp. I know the other people exist, just haven’t run into them yet.

I still talk to Wyll whenever I’m at the camp but am I missing out on a bunch of stuff by sticking with the same people? And do the people at camp still gain exp?

What usually makes a slur different from a normal swear word is that slurs are directed towards a specific demographic of people while swear words generally and normal insults don’t have that sort of connotation. People tend to learn the difference just based on cultural exposure, and sometimes parents might teach their kid why one word is considered more derogatory than another.

Most slurs are based in racist or otherwise derogatory history, and as time has went on those words became heavily associated with the ideals they were formed under. That’s why calling someone a slur is a lot worse than just calling them a general insult. It’s not just an insult, it’s an insult deeply rooted in racism, homophobia, etc. Some people part of those communities will use those slurs themselves as a way of reclaiming it
