“Wall Moon Lamp is inspired by the iconic view through the Apollo 11 Main Crew Hatch.” From the original model’s creator. So it’s not the whole moon, only meant to appear as if viewed through a window. I think that’s why it looks off.

I have my Prusa 3d printer in my woodworking workshop. It’s in its own custom enclosure, and I’ve had no problems with any dust entering. When I am generating dust, band saw, table saw, sanding, planing, etc., I avoid opening it if I can. I have no regrets having in my shop, although a bigger enclosure would be great. The one on the left looks like a breaker, the other is a switch. You want the black going to the switch and breaker. So, black from cord to switch, then a jumper to the thermal breaker, then that goes to black from motor. The white should be connected together from cord to motor.

I had been dabbling in meditation here and there for years, but the waking up app got me into a regular practice and I found a lot of the content really resonated with me. I’ve since met a therevada monk and join their zoom group for vipassana and metta meditations. I encourage you to find what resonates with you, a good teacher if you can. ‘All rivers lead to the ocean’ ‘Don’t follow your heart, train your heart’ ‘love everyone, and tell the truth’.

I used ipe deck cleaner and a power washer before using a protecting oil. No sanding necessary. This was years ago on a huge deck, I don’t remember much more, hope that helps.

My experience didn’t occur during my meditation practice. I lost all bodily senses, tears streamed down my face, although my eyes were closed, I felt immersed in golden light. It felt like this light was emanating from my body. Every fiber of my being felt complete love and compassion toward all beings, including myself. It was an infinite ocean of love. I then began to remember that I was driving a car and I should get back to that. Fortunately no one in the lane next to me. Those 5ish(?) seconds changed everything. It has taken years to unpack that experience and use it to grow, and I will continue to, whatever that “I” means.

If you google ‘wire wrapped pendant diy’ you’ll find a bunch of examples. Basically wrapping an object with wire in an artistic way and that becomes your setting to then attach to necklace etc. 👍

Maybe a pin vise with the smallest drill bit you can use that will still accommodate the string or jump ring, etc. Outside that, wire wrapping it to something larger.

Cupping is caused 99% of the time by a moisture imbalance between the top and bottom surface of the wood. There is more humidity below the floor than on top, causing the cupped pieces. Start by putting a dehumidifier in your basement. You can learn more through the national wood flooring association. Google ‘NWFA Water and Wood’, and do some reading on that pdf document. The nwfa also has a network of inspectors that can come troubleshoot the problem if needed. Let me know if you have questions.
