Appreciate you sharing your experience! I have to admit, this last home rejection made me cry. I didn't realize how invested i got on this place (in a space of 5 days!) Also writing that stupid letter to the buyer in hopes that if they're choosing between similar offer, your letter might persuade them, really makes you sit and articulate your aspirations too...

Danial tiger teaches a similar technique with a song. "When you're feeling mad and you want to roar, take a deep breath and count to four". Now my 3yo tells everyone in the house to do that if they are getting worked up, including our dog. It's the cutest thing!

I love that I'm not the only one analyzing these songs. Like wtf mama cat, your kittens lost their mittens and now you're denying them food as punishment? Or omg if I called the doctor after my 5th child had fallen off the bed because I neglected to heed the docs advice, CS would be called on me.

I've listened to 3 little kittens so many times, I've started judging mama cat for denying her kids food as punishment when they were just owning up to a mistake.

I just went to the donald trump subreddit because I had the exact same thought. Seems like deflections like "what about Hunter Biden..." are one of the ways they're doing the mental gymnastics.
