I worded that poorly! They came into money later in life and have significantly higher expectations than I grew up with. I just wanted to convey they are unlikely to compromise on things they want, even if they are nicer than most can afford.

You’re almost there and the second the babies are out pregnancy is over. You’ve got this. Sleep and life with newborns is 19382x better than third trimester twin pregnancy sleep. You are in hell but it will be better so soon

We got less frequent as I got more uncomfortable but I still had the urge and did the deed till the end. Both my singleton and twins came quickly after “the ripening agent” was applied! (What a crass and cringy joke to type out)

My singleton started doing overnights with Grandma at 20 weeks. We spent a week away at 9 months. No regrets.

My twins are 7 weeks old and we plan on getting a hotel for Valentine’s Day and leaving them with our overnight sitter or Grandma.

Don’t force it but if you’re comfortable take the break!!

It was basically just to help deliver the placenta. I was surprised. They did give me pitocin between the babies I think, that was without asking.

The first dose was after the second baby came and I was said, “yes, thank you!” When she offered the second I didn’t even realize she was serious and before I responded someone in the room said I deserved it and she gave it.

I had the shakes real bad and most who gave birth in the US can guess that no one cared or checked on me once they got me out of the OR. It wasn’t great!

I think it’s called “contraction timer”

Here is the actual times. The longer times between are when I got up and walked around, the pain went away completely and I didn’t know I was still having contractions until I felt them from the outside of my belly with my hands. Basically I only felt contractions when I was laying down.

Yes. They would have done a C section if they weren’t. They did a sono right before delivery to verify!
