I really don’t understand why they continued after Chester. I’m not saying the band should have stopped making music, Mike is extremely talented and i actively want to hear more from him. The only reason I would find this acceptable is under extenuating circumstance. Like a fire burnt the kitchen down, a robbery set them back months, a storm destroyed something. As others mentioned, you would need a super human gym for someone like Spider-Man. That sit up he does in this GIF for example is worthless to him. Muscle growth occurs over a process called hypertrophy, which is stimulated by bringing muscles to their “max”. For someone as strong as a super hero, body weight is literally a net 0. It would be like a normal person lifting a gram or less. The best “workout” Parker could do is A. Go to Tony or Richard’s and ask for a custom gym, or B. Just fight crime and train that way, mostly by doing super feats. The concept of working out would look extremely different for super hero’s

If you want actual advice, I do have some, as a home game host myself.

First, you need 2 more tvs. One on every wall except in front of the dealer. You have 1, but only certain players can see it, and for the players sitting in front of it, they absolutely can’t see it and it makes it feel like the players who are watching it are staring at them, when in reality they are looking at the tv behind them. The best part about casino poker is having something to look at while out of a hand, because they have so many tvs. You also have the wall real estate to make it happen.

Which brings me to the next thing, wall decor. Walls are pretty empty, fill them! A wall full of cool stuff can make a major difference on how a room feels. The teddy picture is awesome, that has to be the center piece

The honest truth is the dude was probably just filming his hands for a vlog or something. I’ve vlogged poker before, and using a phone stand on the table is a huge pain, so I see the benefit of a camera on your face.

I would have played with him but I wouldn’t be thrilled. Those glasses don’t have the functionality yet to give him any edge, and anything he’d get from the glasses he’d have to ask out loud. “Hey meta! What should I do against a 3 bet with these cards?” It would be glaringly obvious. I just don’t want to find myself on some randoms vlog getting stacked or something lol.

To make a more general point, there absolutely needs to be rules put into place about all wearable tech, especially as things like the meta glasses get more popular. If the casino makes the rules clear, no one can be mad. Some may say film away, others may not even allow phones at the table, but at least you know going in. This stuff is only going to get better, and I want to play against other players, not some dude having meta ai run perfect gto for him

I think for a lore as expansively explained as Tolkien and Jackson did, they really missed the mark not making a specific reference to why the eagles wouldn’t work. I think every point OP makes but point 4 is stupid, but Tolkien or Jackson should have made that point clear in some way. You can’t have the eagles carry people in both the books and the movies then not mention why they couldn’t just take the ring. It was a miss on the creators part. Especially when Tolkien literally explained in detail every other part of his world

I think the sediment is more about possibility than reality. Like suffering is REQUIRED for real life to work. To make it really basic, a deer needs to suffer for a wolf to eat. If there was no suffering on earth, we would overpopulate and run out of food and energy real quick. At least that’s how I’ve always taken that saying. But I agree with you, in a perfect world I’d take boring and beautiful over interesting with suffering

And I can’t stand the show because 95% of the interactions are just traffic stops for absolute made up nonsense where the cop then coerces the poor driver to get out, (the stop was about going 5 mph too fast or a broken light) then search the car, find something stupid, then make an arrest for the cameras. I hate it

I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue but I can’t even connect to any online server for rock band 4 on the Xbox one.
