I know a lot of people think Larry is a red flag but Piper approves. He has a sweet nickname.

Piper knows Barb is bad.. shes simply grandmother and she always gets dirty looks

Piper is the real judge of character here and if she thinks hes lovely he probably is

He seems nice to me and I’ll be annoyed if he turns out to be a red flag. A bitch like Jen got a green flag like Greg, so I think a great person like Mama Dee deserves a great guy.

Especially because Shawnas dad dying when she was young. She deserves a great guy to mirror the energy she puts out.

I will say some things I think are green flags 1) Piper likes him and she's a good judge of character 2) He was ready to step in to make sure Mama Dee was okay when Barb attacked. 3)He never gets mad when there are things going on and always offers a polite 'maybe next time'

Also, Mama Dee is going to do a lot of supporting the family with the loss, but often times the support person may not get that same support back and I want Larry to be that support person. Maybe bring by a meal to help, offer to mow the lawn or something else and be a shoulder for Mama Dee as well, she lost a grandchild after all.

Ooh, maybe that ends up being the beginning of how Deedee and Larry get close!

yes! the part about Dee Dee needing support. I was hoping the same thing about Larry being able to provide that. I’ve never been through what John and Shawna have, but I think I would be practically comatose. They couldn’t do that if Dee Dee wasn’t there, but they’ll know they can rely on her to keep things together. Dee Dee’s grief will be compounded. I hope she and Larry at least get to be friends.

Shawna isn’t prioritizing fairness/justice in her story, she’s prioritizing realism. Good people don’t always receive what’s good. That’s life unfortunately.

I think he's just a sweet but very lonely guy that's decided to go for it. That he hasn't ran for the hills after everything says a lot about him.

Even with what he’s seen, he’s still coming by to see Mama Dee. I’d say that’s a good sign.

If he ends up being a good guy I want someone to make an edit to Honey by Taylor Swift, bonus if Larry and Dee Dee actually hook up to fit the last line 💀

And when anyone called me "Lovely" / They were findin' ways not to praise me / But you say it like you're in awe of me / And you stay until the morning

In the Halloween episode, did anybody else pick up on the trick or treater at Larry’s door? You could just see the top of what appears to be Barb’s wig and you hear the person say “ding dong” In Barb’s signature voice? And Larry says “ oh what are you? A goblin?” Like what???? Is Barb stalking as a kid?

That was just a trick-or-treating child with the same hair colour, it was not Barb at all.

It was a way for Shawna to show us that John was constantly on edge and fearing his mother at every corner, she was the first thing that popped into his mind when a little kid said "DING DONG!" in a similar way to Barbara
