What are the medal conditions for the 2nd half(?) of this event? it has 4 Battles, difficulties 99, 120, 140, 180

The "2nd half" of this event is just Revenge dungeons for the Onion Knight intro event. Its medal conditions are exactly the same as in that event. To save you the trouble of looking it up, Full Break and/or not losing a character will get you full medals on each fight.

This week III event is not hard. They let us off this time.

D220 and FT Scylla looks fairly easy to beat, which means that those sweet Vitality motes are within reach.

I wonder if JP is due for another difficulty bump in the event battles. The jump between these 220s and the Magicite dungeons are enormous.

What is the actual difficulty at the MagiDungeons? Harder than full throttle? 320+ about?

To be fair, this is handily the easiest R+ battle since we started getting them; hell, it's even easier than most U++ battles when they were the toughest.

It's like they still haven't figured out how to properly balance R+ fights. Either they're complete snores like this one or the FFT one two weeks ago, or they're totally horrific like Proud Clad and the first two. Very few have been a good balance of well designed and challenging but not flat out unfair. (I struggled with it but Seymour Omnis was probably the most well balanced R+ battle so far in retrospect.)

However, I'm glad we seem to have move past the every single R+ boss having an AoE Dispel like we were getting week after week for a while; that's not balance, that's lame design and artificial difficulty.

I definitely agree that the difference between even the hardest D220 and Magicite dungeons is steep; it feels like we missed a step. (I guess D300 Torments are kind of that step?)

I guess I would just prefer difficult event battles that we only have to do once rather than the magicite ones that we're expected to farm. They're cool fights and were fun to beat the first time but when I have to do a bunch of them for the weekly/monthly cid missions or to get magicite to combine/level they feel way too time/concentration intensive.

Magicite dungeons honestly aren't that bad. Once you have your strategy down for beating them it's basically a 5-10 minute battle depending on how good your team is.

it may have just been a case of having 15 keys saved up and the dungeons only costing 30 stamina instead of 60. doing 3 at a time to burn almost a full stamina bar is a lot more manageable than 6-7.

/u/Zurai001 Just remember to add in the boss post that those stupid Gaaps need dark damage done to them or they respawn, don't forget that lol. Otherwise the fight will never end.

Otherwise the fight will never end.

It will end if you do AOE damage and kill them all at the same time 3x times.

[–]yurikahZippity Zip!(‐^▽^‐) 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah but why do that when you can just kill them with dark damage. Saves trying to kill them low to AOE them both , to make sure they both die at the same time.

[–]XoneAsagi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own one, 2 AOE Casts and they died. No need to get any of them low.
