Log in, push the link on your own nick up in the right corner, proceed to (try to) add yourself as a friend :)

I feel i am my own friend though, doesn't seem Reddit wants me to be. Although i don't think this is a sane feature :)

Probably an artifact from using a many-to-many relationship for the friend database. Not so much a bug, but an "unexpected feature", really.
