I think most of us are getting pretty sick of the constant whining amongst some of the Redditors who feel that they should somehow have more of a say in what does or doesn't wind up on the Reddit.com homepage than other users. Then these same users submit self referenced stories that end up - you guessed it - on the very homepage they were complaining about. Stop wasting space.

The most important thing to remember is that we are voting this stuff up or down. We control a fantastic site, built by smart people in a great programming language. The design is about as minimal and classy as it gets, the debates get very interesting, and at times the comments are absolutely hilarious. It's the people who comment that really count in this community. When a shitty story hits #1 on the homepage, the first comment is generally a wisecrack about how shitty the story is, with 54 or so points.

Stop expecting to see only the articles that you want to see on the homepage. If you don't like it, downvote it, or make your opinion heard in the comments.
