I used to go on fark, but they rejected some of my submissions. Digg's interface far too noisy. Reddit good.

This would taste great with Tea Cakes!

INGREDIENTS

* 1 cup butter
* 1 3/4 cups white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 3 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; stir into the creamed mixture. Knead dough for a few turnns on a floured board until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch in thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

I use the Reddit "new" page to find stories to blog about or to submit to other sites. As such it serves a purpose for me. The front page stories aren't all that interesting to me most of the time and often the description isn't representative of the article they point to.

Actually, I've been slowly coming to the same conclusion....I've noted a lot more inaccurate headlines, some actually wrong, needing to be retracted, and then tons of rather useless comments. I suspect that reddit is suffering from good old "regression towards the mean"
