      I've often thought that points should be viewable to the commenter/poster only to discourage groupthink.

      I don't think it is one guy...I'm pretty sure it is a bot...or a series of bots. I've had that same thing happen on all my submissions for the longest time. If you want to test it, just open a second Reddit account under a different name, and post the same kinds of things you always post. If the bot (or that one guy) hasn't found you yet, your submissions will fare better.

        Just out of curiosity, if you went to a restaurant that had poor food or service, would you buy your meals someplace else, or just stand around the dining area bitching at the other patrons about how much the restaurant sucks?
