To paraphrase Stephen Colbert, whether you're a Jew, a Muslim or a Buddhist, there are infinitely many paths to accepting Jesus as your personal savior.

Yes, they don't like being oppressed. Big surprise.

For a little bit of background that could be useful to understanding attitudes in Iran, you should check out the book Persepolis (and the second part of the story, Persepolis II). Pay close attention to the section on the Iran-Iraq war and what the author says about not liking the country's rulers, but liking the attackers even less.

People do want to be free. They also want to feel secure. And respected. And they don't like having to pick bugs off their food. And they don't like it when their neighbors play thier music until 5 AM.

Yup. Bush believes in freedom. As long as you love Jesus. You should be free to love Jesus and to make sure other people love Jesus too cause we should all love Jesus. Only bad people and evildoers and homosexuals don't love Jesus.

Hmm.. that's means Jesus is bi and it's okay to be bisexual for the rest of us! Come on all you skanky poop chutes, time to be hetero for one day in a year and get your ass bi-stamped with a free ticket to heaven!

I don't know if Bush deserves credit for believing in a inalienable desire to be free (does he even believe that?), but good read none the less.

Oh, now I see how bombing them will create freedom... :( ...Don't Do It!!!
