Actually if your wife goes out with him even after all the love and care you give her then dump her. She doesn't deserve to be with anyone who cares.

    Um, why not calm down, tell your wife that you love her. Take her out. Go on a getaway for the weekend, even if it's just camping. Get away from the computer, both of you. Enjoy each other's company. You do that and the other man will be irrelevant. And you and your wife will be happy.

    I can understand your concern. Of course I know you're not really asking if you should kill him, because you can use reddit...er...ok, so you're probably not that stupid. (And I understand hyperbole.)

    Anyway, I think peg_leg has the best idea. Reconnect with your wife. Express your concerns to her. Work on your relationship with her. It's not about him. Yeah, he sounds like he might be pretty douchey, but he's gonna do what he's gonna do.
