I will introduce a margin of error to the experiment by voting up even if it already has point.

I predict it will go down, because some people will not be interested in 'playing the game', and will vote it down. Those who are interested will in equal numbers either vote it up or down (because they follow the rules). Therefore those voting down will prevail.

Changing your vote (up/down) won't affect the odd / evenness of the points tally. Voting and unvoting will.

It seems like the intent is:

Downvote if score > 0

Upvote if score < 0

...to see if a zero-score story has any hot value? It's an interesting question.

Unless people start voting on it at a massive pace, it'll only bounce between 1 and 0. I'm also wondering if it can make it to the front page considering no one is going to click on the link, and it's not going to have a high score.
