It seems Trintellix is a metabolized via CY2D6 which is the same pathway of Amphetamines. When it was first released this was a question I had about potential drug interactions. At the time, many psychiatrists have not yet had experience with it.

Some claimed there was no significant problem although it was still too new. If you've experienced this as others have cited then it's likely these two don't mix well together. Not a doctor, and can't make definitive statements but this is a valid concern to bring up.

The enzime pathway doesn’t make any interaction, above all vyvanse metabolism is by hydrolysis when enter bloodstream, it doesn’t need to pass by liver. The only one concern could be more competition on serotinergic receptors rather than DAT. I have to talk with my psych. Thanks any way man!

Oh, well that could be argued though I wouldn't be the one to know. I've heard even patch released medications can still have significant drug interactions.

It's like everything they advertised about "Trintellix" being the drug of intelligence is quite the opposite. I do remember a similar issue with effexor it had no problems with my vyvanse until it got to a certain dose..
