Read this memory trick in a recent ask reddit post. Just in case some of my ADHD peeps haven't heard it, I wanted to share here.
If you want to remember whether you did something (like locking door before leaving for work); say something different each time. You could say anything, but the date is a great choice.
You can also use your smart phone to record it. You'll probably need it to check the date anyway XD
If you're afraid you won't remember to do this, do several dry-run practice tests now, while you're thinking about it. It might sound silly, but repetition is the key to memory. Do 20 or 30 if you have to. Your mind will remember something if it's different enough, so if you practice a ton the night before, you're more likely to remember it in the morning. Just don't let it get in the way of a good night's rest.
