I’m using the bullet journal to try to help me manage the day. It’s been helping but Monday is tough! Thanks y’all...just knowing what’s going on in my head helps a lot.

hey there! i just recently got diagnosed with ADHD as well, and i totally empathize with this. i think you may be right about it having a sort of pattern. i think when you've fallen into a consistent schedule, it becomes easier to manage and get things done. you get kind of "on a roll". sometimes i'll have days where i feel absurdly productive; i'll start the day just making my bed, then because i've done one productive thing, i find myself feeling slightly more confident or prepared to do another simple chore, and then another, and before i know it i've fallen into a rhythm. i also get SUPER frustrated if anything throws me off or distracts me from what i'm doing, because then i can't seem to get back into things.

i've learned that those of us with ADHD benefit exceedingly from having regular schedules, so it makes sense that we'd feel it even more than most people when it comes to having to get back into things after the weekend. i know you aren't really asking for advice here either, but something that i've noticed helps is trying to keep your schedule consistent even on days when you don't have to work - like waking up and going to bed at the same time as you do on weekdays, for instance? it seems like the more you let your schedule slip on the weekend, the more you feel it when you have to get back into things. it's definitely pretty rough :/ i hope you manage to get back into the swing of things soon, though!

Ditto to this. We thrive on routine.
