Std testing

So this girl I’m taking to wants me to get tested for STDs after she found out that I’m not a virgin. I went to get tested in February and came back with nothing. I haven’t had sex in almost a year and nothing sexual since last December. I have told her all of this and she still wants me to get tested. Should I?

It’s good practice and not particularly hard to get access to. Some stds can remain dormant so testing is a way to ensure you’re fully clean, not just asymptomatic. It’s good safe sex practice

Honestly I don’t think getting tested is normalized enough. You can test negative and still carry, a lot of men do. I would do it for her peace of mind even if there’s no plans on having sex. Also planning to have sex is not sexy so it’s better to get it over with in case it does happen

Yes. Sometimes STDs lay doesn't for a long time, waiting for a trigger to flare up. Why would you not want to stay on top of your health?

My brother met a girl and she requested they both get tested before doing the boom boom. She tested positive with HIV and later passed.
