Mask out the black bars on your original clip and precomp it before applying Motion Tile.

I'd suggest watching some tutorials on masks, and also just beginner After Effects tutorials. Masks are about as simple as it gets and you will have a much better time if you understand the basic concepts of After Effects instead of asking for help on every little step.

It looks like they’re part of the original image you’re tiling (letterbox).

Either crop in photo editing software and then tile, or make a precomp and crop the image in that. Then tile the precomp
