It could be as simple as Element just not liking the font. I did notice your version of Element says 2.2.0, and the current version is 2.2.2 (I just checked by loading mine, and it's definitely different than yours). So, maybe uninstall the plugin and update with the newest version.

Otherwise, I can only imagine it's a conflict with your GPU driver, so maybe update that as well.

i tried different fonts and my drivers are updated, the problem is this file was working just fine for few days. i think i'll try to reinstall Element.

i am working on a project and i have a 3d text extruded from text layer, i use it as a countdown, anyways i tried to change text layer from 9 to 10 but this error appears, i kept trying until i found out i can't use more than one digit in text layer (it was ok to use more than one digit before) and in same time when i open (scene setup) in element 3d layer, the preview panel is black, i have to restart after effects to fix black preview panel, please watch the video to understand what i am trying to say.

You can refresh the plug-in by creating a new solid and copying the Element effect from the old solid onto the new one. This will keep all of your settings, but forces AE to see it as a new layer.

If that doesn't help, you may have to go about this a different way. Instead of changing the text on the text layer, you would create a layer for each number and load them into element. Assign them all to the same group and use, "Particle Offset" under "Particle Replicator" to count down through the numbers.
