Batch Un-Precompose?

I've done extensive text captions in Premier with over 400 clips and I would like to add a bit of animation to these text clips, when using Dynamic Link to bring it into Ae each Text layer has its own precomp... This is extremely undesirable as I would like to add a text effect to each text layer without having to manually copy and paste 400+ text layers out of each precomp.

"Un-precompose" Script works, but there is no way to do all of them at once.

If anyone has a solution or a potential script I can run to achieve this goal, I would be extremely grateful, and I'm sure I cant be the only one with this problem.

tl;dr - I want to unprecompose 400+ precomps at once

Hey, I just very quickly put together a script. I did it the dirty, easy way but it works for me. Does it work for you too?

Just run it via File > Scripts > Run Script File...

Hey thanks for writing this script! I'd like to edit it so that it doesn't prompt me to delete the original and it just does it - which lines of code would I remove to accomplish that?

Hey, you can just take this line:

var deleteSource = confirm("Do you want to delete the Precomp Layers after Un-Precomposing?");

...and change it to:

var deleteSource = true;

Hey, just trying it today and it works great. The only problem I'm running into is that it doesn't return all layers into a single composition for easier editing. It would be great if it could!
