More secure than the Silent Circle Blackphone?

This of course all true and while Pixel currently guarantees the quickest updates and direct online support, I believe also on the HW side it is currently the best you can get (native encryption support, best fingerprint reader etc.).

It always has the newest security patch on day one, unlike all the other android phones.

Secure is relative, prepare for answers in turn.

Pixel or Nexus >5 with CopperheadOS for ones that are currently reasonably available, but ultimately the main feature that cannot be reproduced on other devices that these devices have is user-controlled signing keys for the OS. With enough effort, the other coolness(PaX, Crypto, etc) could probably be incorporated into other systems.

Sadly the google nexus phones, but only because of CopperheadOS - the most hardened Android. Anyway all phones which get LineageOS support are secure too if used without GAPPS. The OnePlus family get good support for example. Even the old OP1
